Wonderful intertwines with patterns
Opening of George Makarov’s personal exhibition called “Wonderful intertwines with patterns” is taking place in the art gallery "ARVEST" on March, 18, 2009 at 18:30. His disciples Kate Telma, Goar Boryan, Anna Timofeeva, Lukas Von Gleich also will take part in it. George Makarov is a gifted artist and wonderful teacher. Special contemplation and meditation is inherent in his works. Peering into the graphic sheets of the artist you leave for the other world, which is full of fantastic blinking, ambiguous plots and fantastic flight of ideas., George's works are full of illusivenesses and mysteriousness as if under a veil of a mystical dream.
The author is the creator of the space which he creates similarly to the architect. It draws small snow-covered houses on the margins of the lonely hills, fantastic fish living in a bewitching underwater empire, represents thoughtful angels. The technique of the artist has a wide range that allows him to take a special place among the artists of Kazakhstan. George is masterly able to use pastel. His many works presented at the exhibition are executed in this technique. His new series of still-lives takes the central exposition space of the gallery. Filled by special aroma of the East it sends us to the Orientalism art. You can feel the spicy and tart smell of cinnamon and muscat triumphs over all. The color saturated and rich is the color of saffron and pomegranates.
The freakish game of the ornament of the “Wonderful intertwines with patterns” gives a unique charm to his works. The idea of a personal exhibition together with his disciples is George Stanislavovich's plan as transfer of the saved up knowledge to the followers and connoisseurs of long creativity. The works of the artist are in private collections of Russia, Kazakhstan, Poland, USA, Canada, Germany, England, Romania and in other countries.
