Saltanat Tashimova has graduated from Almaty Institute of Theatre and Cinema, Department of Tapestry, in 1990. She has been exhibited her oil paintings in local galleries since 1991.

Now, many her oil pictures are in private collections in Kazakhstan, the USA, Germany, Russia, and New Zealand.
